Lauren Schuster is a print and digital media professional with experience writing, editing, and optimizing content for both print and online publications. She is also an avid social media consumer with a special love for creating and watching lifestyle content on TikTok. Her favorite topics to write and edit content about include lifestyle, food, fashion, beauty, travel, and pets.

After holding and internship with TVGuide Magazine and graduating from Manhattan University with a BA in English and a BA in Communications with a concentration in Journalism, she began working as a freelance writer with bylines for Static Media, TheThings.com, and Neighborhoods.com. She also served as the editor of luxury lifestyle magazine Mann About Town before transitioning into her current position as Associate Editor at Matter New York, where she works on Savory and Fresh magazines. She is also currently enrolled in evening classes for Baruch College’s Masters in Marketing program, with a concentration in Digital Marketing.

Schuster was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and grew up with a strong love of New York City and a passion for writing, which led to her decision to pursue journalism in NYC. When Schuster is not at work or in class, she spends her free time catching up on the latest TikTok trends, enjoying time on the couch with her cats and dog, and scoping out new restaurants and attractions in the city.
